2025 - Complete Redesign & platform migration

Mood Brü is a female and LGBTQ owned company that specializes in crafting delicious, non-alcoholic beverages that elevate your mood and encourage creativity using botanical terpenes. Mood Brü continues to be a regular client that I have supported for the last 2 years.

The revamp aligned with the site’s aesthetic based on the owner's vision, customization of a base theme, and refining the brands imagery.

Main goal of this project was to move away from WordPress to Shopify for a better eCommerce user interface that will make processing orders smoother and providing a better customer shopping experience for both

Improved product setup and structure that lead to more social traffic converting effectively and wider visibility. This lead to the brand confidence improving, which has lead into future collabs with other brands since launch. Read about the recent collab with Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios.

Used Elfsight widgets for easier posting of events and stories. This was my first time using this platform but provided a budget-friendly option for forms, events, store locations, and blogs under one 'roof'. Also, provides the owner many other widgets that could boost user engagement and easy to implement later.

2025 - Complete Redesign - brand change

OKSPARK, also known previously as OKCAPMAP, worked with me under OSU to revamp their website due to a name and branding change that occurred after their leadership had changed. OKSPARK is an organization that focuses on providing psychiatry resources to both statewide providers and individuals seeking knowledge on how to handle a mental health crisis in Oklahoma.

I redesigned the site's aesthetic based on new branding guidelines that would align with the vision and mission of the organization.

Improved page flow navigation and organized content based on the audience type.

I worked within the new (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA Guidelines during development and regards to handling online documents. Fact Sheet PDF's were turned into a single webpage with anchor links so it would be in compliant faster and provide an easier sharing experience for the Pediatric Mental Health Conferences.

Connected their SalesForce forms onto their new webpages that involved the help of their SalesForce representative and testing the API connection.

This project involved a high-touch collaboration across multiple team members.  Which meant several stakeholders were involved, aligning on scope, expectations, and how decisions were made that risk delays but with solid communication and flexibility, I was able to launch their new site right on schedule.

I submitted this website to the 2025 Annual OCPRA Awards Competition and won the Achievement Award in the state for Full Website (Large-scale website creation or redesign.)

National Center for Wellness & Recovery (NCWR)

2021 - 2024 - Full website creation & Complete Redesign

NCWR is a organization that was officially created after Attorney General Mike Hunter and Oklahoma State University leaders won a settlement with Purdue Pharma that would establish a nearly $200 million endowment toward research and new treatments that could cure the ongoing addiction epidemic happening nationwide. The NCWR went through 2 different designs  and I was heavily involved with each development.

In 2021, I was brought on to collab with the newly established marketing team that would focus on branding and future campaigns for NCWR. This officially launched in 2022.

Main goal of this project was to create a brand new website as the official branding was being developed by the team. I helped with consulting over platform decisions and helping translate tech lingo to leadership. Later, I was assigned to help with the development of the website after several round of mockups and branding decisions were finally official.

Website was created using Forestry.io despite my recommendation to use a more  reliable and familiar CMS. Forestry was my first learning experience with a static site generator and I focus on areas that required coding using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

A year after launch, Forestry.io shutdown and had blocked the ability for future edits on any websites that utilized it.

In 2023, a new website was required and a new partnerships with the University of Arizona that included new branding. I worked with an even larger group of leadership and attended a full year of weekly meetings that I was responsible for reporting the progress of development that was being made. Site Launched in 2024.

WordPress was the CMS that ended up being used and a I helped design a custom theme along with another developer. Due to some restrictions from leadership, we ended up using the the WP Gutenberg Builder with it.

This latest website won the 2024 OCPRA Web Design Excellence Award, the main leadership did submit it under their names, but I was heavily involved with it's creation and development.
